Northern Patagonia is not toured, it is lived in. Some places are visited; others quietly change the rhythm of whoever arrives. Bariloche is one of the latter. ÉLEVÉ's Bariloche & Lakes Signature brings together the impossible blue of Nahuel Huapi, the centuries-old myrtles of Isla Victoria and the Seven Lakes Route in six nights designed for travelers who want first-class nature without giving up rest.
Lake, forest and mountain: Patagonia at its most serene
Bariloche looks out over Nahuel Huapi, a lake of clear water ringed by snowy peaks. From there three worlds open up: the water, with the cruise to Isla Victoria and its cinnamon-barked forest; the Andean forest, with the Seven Lakes Route toward Villa La Angostura and San Martín de los Andes; and the mountains, with Cerro Campanario and Cerro Catedral. ÉLEVÉ sets them in an unhurried sequence, with a five-star lakefront hotel, a private bilingual guide and a final night in Buenos Aires so the trip home is as serene as the journey.
Day-by-day itinerary — 6 nights
Buenos Aires — Bariloche: when the plane lands among the mountains
The moment the plane descends over Lake Nahuel Huapi, that impossible blue ringed by snowy peaks, already hints at everything Patagonia promises. Your concierge meets you at the airport and accompanies you by private vehicle to your lakefront hotel. The afternoon is yours: the mountains turning orange at sunset are the best prologue to the days ahead.
Bariloche — The Circuito Chico and Cerro Campanario
The Circuito Chico is the most beautiful scenic route in northern Patagonia. Your private vehicle, with a bilingual guide, stops at Playa Bonita, at the Bahía López lookout and by the Llao Llao peninsula, where the forest runs down to the water. Then the Cerro Campanario chairlift rewards you with one of the most photographed panoramas in the Southern Hemisphere: lakes, islands and mountains in a single glance. Optional: a gourmet picnic on the shores of Lake Moreno with a private sommelier.
Bariloche — The silence of the lake and a forest that stops time
Your private boat awaits at the dock. Cruising Nahuel Huapi feels like an inward journey: still water, the centuries-old cinnamon-barked myrtles of Isla Victoria and a picada of Patagonian produce on board while the peaks are mirrored in the water. The forest boardwalks lead you among orange trunks and leaves that filter the light in a way found nowhere else. The cruise depends on the wind: if the captain cancels it for safety, it is rescheduled for another day. Optional: a private botanical guide in the forest.
The Seven Lakes Route: Villa La Angostura and San Martín de los Andes
A full day of lakes strung like beads on a necklace, Correntoso, Espejo, Falkner, Villarino, by private vehicle with stops wherever you choose. San Martín de los Andes, on the shores of Lake Lácar, marks the farthest point; the return via Villa La Angostura closes the loop. It is the longest day of the journey: for a gentler pace, we shorten it to Villa La Angostura.
Bariloche — Cerro Catedral and an afternoon at your pace
A mountain morning on Cerro Catedral with a private guide: trails with lake views in summer, snow in winter. The afternoon is free: a stroll through town and its artisan chocolates, which here are fine confectionery, not souvenirs, or simply the hotel terrace facing the lake.
Bariloche — Buenos Aires: an unhurried return
A free morning to say goodbye to the lake. Private transfer to the airport and flight to Buenos Aires, where a night in a boutique hotel awaits.
Buenos Aires — Flight home
Private transfer to Ezeiza airport for your flight home. ÉLEVÉ coordinates every leg of the final day so you don't have to think about logistics at all, only about which part of the trip you'd like to relive first.
